Yalçın Özdemir, an expert in parenting and child rearing, completed his undergraduate and graduate programs in Guidance and Psychological Counseling at the Middle East Technical University Faculty of Education and his doctoral program in Educational Psychology at Ankara University Faculty of Education. He worked as a psychological counselor in educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education between 1998 and 2009. Since 2009, he has been working at Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Education, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. His research interests include parenting, child-rearing, and child and adolescent development. The researcher has published articles on these areas in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Ali Serdar SAĞKAL

Ali Serdar Sağkal, an expert in preventive guidance services, and family and child studies, completed his undergraduate degree at the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Boğaziçi University, and his master’s and doctoral programs at the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Dokuz Eylül University. He worked as a psychological counselor at a public primary school in Izmir from 2009 to 2011. Since 2011, he has been working at Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Faculty of Education, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling. His research and interest areas include developmental and preventive guidance programs in schools, and family and child studies. The researcher has published articles in national and international refereed journals related to these areas of study. He is married and has one child.
